The new noise surrounding the Red Roof is the launch of our Red Roof Plus brand and number one customer satisfaction status. Red Roof was recently named the top-ranked economy hotel for the fourth consecutive year by the ReviewMetrix Consumer Satisfaction Index and by 10Best.com’s Readers Choice.

This customer satisfaction came on the heels of our properties NextGen Renovations. We are happy to say about 200 of the 360 properties have undergone this renovation thus far and about 80 more properties plan to obtain this renovation in 2014. On March 3^rd we launched our new brand Red Roof Plus+ and about 40 hotels will be upgraded to the new “Plus+” designation this year. Plus+ is an extension from our renovation efforts that offer a more enhanced experience through our premium rooms.  The goal of these renovations and now Plus+ is to solidify Red Roof’s position as the economy hotel with the most amenities and attract customers, such as business travelers and sports teams, who ordinarily would stay at a more-expensive hotel.
