Dates set for upcoming Mullen’s High Profile Tournament/JC Top 100 Event
By now, you are aware of the new NCAA rules pertaining to the July evaluation period. With 12 days total in July, there will be 3 weekends of 4 days apiece (Wednesday 5 pm – Sunday 5 pm) beginning July 11.
Because of this, we are setting our tournament dates for July 13-15, 2012. We will continue to host our event at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis). Last year we had a phenomenal turnout of quality summer teams and 300+ college coaches, and are expecting to have another banner July.
We know that because of these new rules, there will be a lot of competition between events. Based on last year, we believe that we host one of the top events in the country. Our event is extremely unique because we pair a top tier High School event with our Top 100 JuCo Showcase. We also have a tremendous location (close to the aiport), top notch facilities at Lindenwood, and our host hotel rate is as good as any tournament can offer nationwide.
All of our summer events are INVITE ONLY. To inquire about more information, CLICK HERE.
New NCAA Men’s Basketball Rules
We wanted to post the new NCAA rules and how they will apply to summer basketball for this upcoming April and July:
Instituted a new summer basketball recruiting model. Instead of having 20 evaluation days in July and none in April, coaches will have four evaluation days in April and 12 in July. The change also means coaches can make unlimited calls or send unlimited text messages to prep recruits after June 15 at the end of their sophomore year.
